Why Sweep A Chimney?
The National Association of Chimney Sweeps and the Fire Service both recommend that your chimney should be swept at least once a year.
Whether you are using coal, oil, gas, or wood to fuel your fire, all produce combustion making it imperative that your chimney is annually maintained. Doing so helps minimise the risk of blockages, allowing fumes to escape efficiently.
CARBON MONOXIDE
It is not always obvious to detect if there’s a problem. Please remember that carbon monoxide has no smell or taste, and poisoning can either be fatal or impose permanent damage on your health.
Not only will regular sweeping result in a more efficient flue, but it’ll also provide you with peace of mind that you and your family are safe within your home.

CERTIFICATE
Our chimney sweeping service is thorough. To be sure that it is free of any soot, dirt, or debris, we will use rotary power sweeping a minimum of four times to clean it.
Once we’re satisfied it has met our high expectations; we will then warm the chimney to carry out a smoke test, checking for the correct draw, as well as any leaks. Upon competition, we will issue you with an official chimney sweeping certificate which can be used by you as evidence for home insurance purposes.
